These memories of Jiddu Krishnamurti encompass the last three years of his life during which Mr. Grohe had personal interaction with him. In the preface to his book Grohe writes, "I encountered a great many people who were keenly interested to know how he lived his everyday life. This is why I would like to record here a number of seemingly insignificant events which yet may convey that this extraordinary human being did indeed live the so-called 'Teachings'."
