The
First and
Last Freedom
The First and Last Freedom
has sold more copies than
any other Krishnamurti
publication. Aldous Huxley,
a dear friend of Krishnamurti,
wrote the foreword to
this wondrous book. Aldous
Huxley states, “Man is
an amphibian who lives
simultaneously in two
worlds the given and the
home-made, the world of
matter, life and consciousness
and the world of symbols.”

Inward
Revolution
Krishnamurti inquires
into how remembing and
dwelling on past events
give us a false sense
of continuity. "The
first step is to perceive—perceive
what you are thinking,
perceive your ambition,
perceive your anxiety,
your loneliness, your
despair, this extraordinary
sense of sorrow. Perceive
it without any condemnation,
justification, without
wishing it to be different,
just perceive it as
it is.
